S.R.Smith Varsity Starting Blocks have been the standard for decades at competitive swimming pools. Now, facilities can graduate to the Velocity VR Starting Block. Designed to make upgrades easy and affordable, the Velocity VR Starting Block does not require any deck drilling.

- Frames made from commercial grade, 1.90" stainless steel, powder-coated for additional protection
- Available with TrueTread™ or Sand Tread footboard surface
- Track start wedge (5 positions) tucks under footboard when not in use (optional)
- Four backstroke handle options
- Available with left or right side step
- Custom colors and logos available on sand treaded footboards
- Retrofits into existing S.R.Smith Varsity Block anchors
- Colorado & Daktronics timing systems compatible
- Meets FINA, USA Swimming, NCAA, NFSH and USMS competition pool rules and guidelines
